Zenka Films GmbH is the brainchild of Katja Meier, a Swiss-Italian entrepreneur and creator & producer of award-winning SHARE TV series, executive produced by Golden Globe winner Rhea Seehorn (Pluribus, Better Call Saul). The company is based in the Swiss Alps in the vicinty of St. Moritz.

Katja founded Zenka Films together with Martin Zentner. The two met on a theater stage in Basel in 1994. Soon after, both left the cultural ivory tower to explore different worlds. Exactly 29 years later, with a suitcase filled with inspiring stories and crazy life experiences, they founded Zenka Films to ensure diverse women above 50 are not edited out of film scripts but entertain and inspire us, just as the heroes they are in real life.
