Zenka Films is the brainchild of Katja Meier and Martin Zentner. The two met on a theater stage in Basel in 1994. Soon after, both left the cultural ivory tower to explore different worlds.

Exactly 29 years later, with a suitcase filled with inspiring stories and crazy life experiences, they founded Zenka Films to ensure diverse women above 50 are not edited out of film scripts but entertain and inspire us, just as the heroes they are in real life. 

​​

Zenka Films GmbH is currently a participant in the SEIF impact accelerator academy for start-ups and social entrepreneurs who care about equality and sustainability.
